1. Information We Collect
When you use our website or engage our services, we may collect: your name, email address, company name, job title, and any information you provide through our contact form or during engagements. We also collect standard web analytics data (page views, referral source, device type) through Google Analytics 4.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: respond to inquiries, deliver consulting services, send engagement-related communications, improve our website and services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email, Calendly for appointment scheduling, Google Analytics for website analytics, and commercial AI services for the analysis and document production described in our Code of Professional Conduct. Each service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies. No client material is processed by any AI service without that client’s prior written permission.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. All engagements are covered by mutual NDA. Deliverables are marked CONFIDENTIAL. Client data, strategies, and business information are never shared across engagements or used in marketing. Deliverables remain available on your private client portal for five years after engagement close, unless you ask us to remove them earlier; confidential material you provide is returned or destroyed at the conclusion of the work.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Contact form data is retained for 24 months. Engagement data is retained per the terms of the engagement agreement.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also withdraw consent for communications at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@sagentix.ca.
7. Cookies
Our website uses first-party cookies for essential functionality. Google Analytics cookies, which help us understand how the site is used, are set only if you press “Accept” in the cookie banner; until then Google Analytics does not load. Our own visit counts (Vercel Web Analytics) use no cookies. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

9. Free Market Snapshot
When you request a free market snapshot, we receive what you type in the form (your description, market, customer type, website, exclusions and email address), your IP address, browser and country. We first email a 6-digit code to the address; nothing is processed until it is typed back, and an unconfirmed request expires after 30 minutes. AI models run by Fireworks AI (currently GLM-5.3, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, gpt-oss-120b and Qwen 3.8 Max) read your description with public web pages, statistics and research articles to write the snapshot and check it; Resend delivers it to you, and Stéphane Raby receives a copy. If you paste text or upload files (up to 3: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, PNG or text), Cloudflare’s converter takes the text out of PDF, Word and image files on our own Cloudflare account, email addresses and phone numbers are removed before the AI reads it, and each file is deleted as soon as its text is out; the text helps plan the searches and is never sent to Stéphane Raby. A file holding an ID-like or card-like number is not read. Your request, the text of your files and the snapshot are deleted after 7 days. To count requests and learn which markets people ask about, we keep a statistics record of each request that holds no email address, IP address, website, description or file: the market, customer type, language and country, the snapshot’s category label, how the request ended, its timing and cost, what the research found, whether the report was opened, and where you came from (campaign tags and the name of the site that linked to us). The record of your agreement to the AI-use notice (its text, the time, your email and IP address) is kept for 3 years as proof of consent. If you ticked the separate box, we may email you about our services until you unsubscribe: we keep your email address, the wording you agreed to, the date and what you asked about as a contact record until you unsubscribe, and then keep only the record that you did.
